Michael Phillippi is vice president of technology for Lytx whose responsibilities include in-vehicle devices, in-vehicle technology integration, firmware, software, artificial intelligence (AI), data center operations, ERP, and analytics. Michael leadsthese engineering teams to bring innovative solutions for driver safety, fleet management, risk prediction, data analytics, and customer self-service.
Michael is an Executive Board Member for UCSD’s Corporate Affiliate Program as well as a member Dean’s Advisory Board for National University. Michael also supports the engineering community in San Diego through organizations such as Django Girls, Agile San Diego, Evo/Nexus,Girls Who Code, and The League of Amazing Programmers. Michael holds a B.S. in quantitative economics and decision sciences from University of California, San Diego.
Michael has more than 30 years of experience in various software engineering roles across many different industries. The companies include Cambridge Technology Partners, Sabre Holdings, and HP Enterprise Services.
